I moved to Charlottesville from New York City in 2007 for its easier pace and livability. Also, when I visited I had an overwhelming sense that this is where I belonged.

Coincidentally at the same time, The City of New York wanted to design a logo for their yellow cabs. They couldn't decide between two designs and instead of choosing one, they created a hybrid logo combining the two (never a good idea). The result was less than appealing! I took it as a validating sign to move on ; ) Analysis of that design here.
